about to record my first PodCast!

Hello Denim butts…

Hello Denim butts….Tuesday the 19th is the start of the FINAL voting process for the www.nextblue.com contest I have entered to decied WHO will be the NEXT Wrangler Denim Designer. I have flown out and flown back, the highlight may have been visiting White Oak- one of the oldens denim mills in the US and seeing first hand how denim is made it to this coveted material.

Please “let me keep you” I know that the voting process is repetitive and can be annoying. Stick around and embrace the passion behind it. Help me make one of my little dreams come true and bring my denim to market! On April 26th @midnight the voting closes and a winner will be announced. I think I have completed a jean for both MEN’S and WOMEN’S that you will love wearing!

All my love,

The Butt Therapist

Wrangler has taken care of us and given us many tools to create our Men’s and Women’s denim designs. Yesterday, we each met with Head Merchandisers and designers to bounce our ideas off and gain more Wrangler perspective. I am pitching today and jumping on a plane to come home and  start the voting process. Wish me LUCK and THANK YOU for supporting your Butt Therapist.

Passionately yours,

Casey

Casey, also known as “The Butt Therapist” to friends, family and clients says, “I am not designing my ideal jean — instead I’m focusing my design with the consumer in mind. Working closely in the industry as a stylist has helped me to realize that the denim industry has forgotten an entire consumer market! When creating my sketches and mood boards, I focus on constructing a winning design that will fit multiple body types, shapes, sizes while accentuating and enhancing curves in all the right places. My ultimate design inspiration is to create the jean that will give consumers something to smile about when they step out in my design.”

Below are images to give you a peek at Casey’s creative process, including the development of her mood board. As you can see, her beloved pairs of jeans in various styles, designs and washes serve as her design inspirations. -Wrangler, nextblue.com

I am in Greensboro, North Carolina

After pulling an all night’er in order to have the opportunity to spend 8 UNINTERRUPTED, non-business hours on nextblue…okay…okay- more than 30 minutes on my lunch hour and in between boxes of tissues. Thank you #Wrangler… after spending 9 hours on the kitchen floor and running across the runway a few time in Chicago with gate changes… It was so nice to arrive and have a nice space to relax and POWER UP!  I never seem to amaze myself. All ready with just a few loose ends that I will be tying up tonight.

I am really happy with my presentation…so far and my jeans. I can’t wait to meet the Wrangler Crew and have a critique!

Sweet dreams while I pull out the notebooks!
